Introducing the latest addition to the BEACON family!

Beacon Storage LLC – Greg Prine’s newest business Venture is NOW OPEN!

There is a new Christian song called “Let Me Tell You About My Jesus” … all glory to Him first and foremost – but I would also like to take this opportunity to ‘Tell you about My Greg.’

His many accolades testify that he is a brilliant, successful businessman and well-respected among his peers. Amongst his other Beacon companies – Beacon Supply, Beacon Crane, and Beacon Construction, he also owns Columbia Storage which has three locations and has been doing that for over 35 years. With Christian business mentors like the Griners’, the Jones, the Wallaces’, and the Williamsons’, (just to name a few) and the direct leadership of Jesus himself, Greg continues to pursue community projects and possibilities.

The Wintzell children brought to his attention the upcoming vacancy of a very large soon-to-be empty building in Wiggins! Greg took a ride out, toured the very poorly maintained building. He prayed about it. He consulted. He planned. He had a vision!

From all of that ~ Beacon Storage was birthed.

It is a beautiful all-inclusive INDOOR Climate Controlled facility in Wiggins, MS with full-time staff available to assist Monday thru Friday. Greg took the Wiggins facility a step further and introduced the NOKE’ Smart Entry-Smart Lock system. What does that mean? No more padlocks, barrel locks, lost keys, etc. (Our staff will gladly DEMO this upon request). Tenants can now use their cell phones with an APP that is easy-peasy 24-hour access. This locking system not only features convenience but state-of-the-art security! The lock is built onto the storage door – it has motion detection as well as a heat sensor that detects ANY activity from within the inside of the unit.

As if this wasn’t enough ~ Beacon Storage aims to be YOUR ONE STOP SHOP ~ we offer U-Haul Equipment Rentals AND U-Haul quality Moving Supplies~~ Large Variety of Boxes, Tape, Furniture Blankets, Bubble Wrap, and more.

That brings me to our staff. We are elated to have Sister Donna Baio onboard as the FACE of Beacon Storage. She is our On-Site Facility Manager. Donna represents professionalism, dedication, and the ultimate level of customer service! Ms. Tina Buck joined our team as well as a Customer Care Specialist – she has years of experience as well -- both ladies are from Stone County.

Special Thanks to all the Stone County locals that helped bring the project to completion – Dykes Construction, Stone Printing, Alexander Hardware & Supply, Spring Electric, Brian Rouse Plumbing, C Spire of Wiggins, and Jack’s Home Improvement Center.

Additional thanks and kudos to our friend Wes Mink – the Storage Guru for countless hours behind-the-scenes consulting & planning! Also, to the many talented hands-on Laborers from Columbia —— Don Gipson, Jimmy Davis, Richard Oglesbee, Phil Lott, Jerry Ford & his crew, Josh Prine, and of course MUNN Enterprises for our beautiful dual-lit LED sign!

Each of these individuals played huge roles in the completion of this 4-month endeavor!
